FAQ

What is the goal of the survey?

The goal of the survey is to gather detailed information about your family's experience with the Shidduch system. We are looking for trends, common concerns and challenges, as well as your input as to the possible causes and suggestions for improvement with regard to the current system.

Who should take the survey?

Please answer this survey if you have children currently dating, or if you, or your children, have gone through the shidduch system and gotten married in the past ten years. If you are currently single and living outside of your parents' home, please participate by taking the survey on your own behalf. (We are looking for one response per household). Our target audience participates with the “Yeshiva” style shidduch process, including meeting with Shadchanim (matchmakers) and generally having a “facilitator” or “go-between” communicating with the singles or families during the dating process.

What will you do with the results of the survey?

We will have data scientists analyze the results and compile a report of their findings. Based on the report we will be consulting with our Rabbinical board and other stakeholders to determine what next steps the organization should take in order to address the issues that are surfaced through the study.
